The Beaver Local Volleyball team traveled to Brooke for Buckeye 8 action on Tuesday and came away with 2 wins. The JV team won 24-26, 25-10, 25-17. Daisy McKnight had 10 kills, 7 aces, 2 digs, and 2 blocks. Macie Bourne had 8 kills, 3 aces, 3 assists, 9 digs. Makayla Jungfleisch had 5 kills, 4 aces, 11 digs. Jess Layman had 5 kills. Madi Gaydos had 11 digs. The Varsity team won 24-26, 25-12, 25-16, 25-17. Addie Thurik had 16 kills, 8 aces, 16 digs, and 18 assists. Lily Schrieber had 13 kills, 4 aces, 22 assists, and 18 digs. Leah Schrieber had 9 kills, 1 ace, and 11 digs. Olivia Opalenik had 6 kills. Taylor Pease had 4 aces and 31 digs. McKinnley Ferry had 12 digs. Madison Poppelriter had 5 kills.
