The Beaver Local Volleyball team hosted the East Liverpool Potters in a battle of the top two teams in the Buckeye 8 North. The two rivals battled back and forth all night that saw the rival Potters edge out the Beavers in a 5 set thriller 13-25, 25-20, 25-19, 18-25, 12-15. For the Beavers, Gianna Congrove had 18 digs, 2 assists, and 2 aces. McKinnley Ferry had 20 assists, 8 digs, and 3 aces. Olivia Opalenik had 8 kills and 5 blocks. Taylor Pease had 29 digs. Madison Poppelriter had 4 kills, 8 digs, and 2 blocks. Leah Schrieber had 4 kills and 12 digs. Lily Schrieber had 23 kills, 16 digs, and 6 assists. Addie Thurik had 14 kills, 22 assists, and 23 digs. Macie Bourne had 3 kills. In JV action, the Beavers won 25-17, 25-19. Daisy McKnight had 5 kills and 1 block. Makayla Jungfleisch had 4 kills and 17 digs.
