The Beaver Local volleyball picked up two wins at Indian Creek on Thursday night. The JV won 25-11, 25-10. Makayla Jungfleisch had 5 kills, 3 aces, and 2 digs. Maddie Smith had 2 kills, 8 assists, and 5 digs. In the Varsity match, the Beavers were able to make quick work with a 25-10, 25-10, 25-16 victory. Gianna Congrove had 2 aces and 6 digs. McKinnley Ferry had 13 assists, 7 aces, and 4 digs. Olivia Opalenik had 6 kills and 2 blocks. Taylor Pease had 2 assists, 4 aces, and 14 digs. Madison Poppelriter had 5 kills and 3 digs. Leah Schrieber had 2 kills, 2 aces, and 3 digs. Lily Schrieber had 8 kills, 5 assists, 6 digs, and 2 blocks. Addie Thurik had 12 kills, 13 assists, and 9 digs. The Beavers will host East Liverpool on Tuesday September 1st, with the JV match starting at 5:30.
