The Beaver Local Boys Soccer team opened up their season on the road as they traveled to Cambridge for a Buckeye 8 Battle. Senior Kaden Mays collected four goals and one assist and Brandon Smith had two goals and three assists in leading Beaver Local past Cambridge, 10-3, in Tuesday’s season opener. Logan Roberts contributed one goal and two assists. Grady Reed, Lucas Price and Cael Dunn also scored goals. Brody Nign and Landon Wheatley had assists. Cole Long made three saves in goal and Colt Johnston had one. Beaver Local will play at Harrison Central at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
