The Beaver Local Boys Golf team traveled to Valley Golf Course on Thursday to take on the Columbiana Clippers. The match was an excellent on that saw two good teams with high aspirations as the season progresses. Battleing back and forth all match, came down to the wire as the Clippers saw their number one and two golfers go three under on the last hole that helped them narrowly defeat the Beavers 146-147. Beaver Local had three golfers post scores in the thirties with Eli Stewart (30), Britton Hickman (36), Brady McNear (39), they were followed by teammates Andre Wiegand (42), Nathan Pusateri (48), and Austin Pickering (50) The Boys will be back in action on Monday at Cadiz Country Club for the first round of the Buckeye 8 Championships.
